FastRun 1.0 Copyright (C)1994 by Fred Bubbers Released for Free Distribution FastRun is a fast, convenient menuing system for windows. Applications appear as entries in a scrollable listbox in FastRun's main dialog. Each application can have its own command line and working directory. Multiple instances of FastRun can be run, each with its own menu. The following files are distributed with FastRun: FASTRUN.EXE -- the main executable file FASTRUN.HLP -- the help file FASTRUN.MNU -- default sample menu BWCC.DLL. -- Borland Windows Custom Controls The FastRun.* files may be placed in any directory as long as they are all in the same place. Fastrun.mnu is a sample menu that contains entries for Windows Notepad, Windows Write and Windows File Manager. By default, FastRun will always attempt to load "fastrun.mnu" from the directory that contains fastrun.exe. This can be overridden with the command line option. BWCC.DLL is the Borland Windows Custom Control Library. This is a redistributable file from Borland International that is used by FastRun for its custom dialog boxes and buttons. This file needs to be in one of three places: the directory containing Fastrun.exe, your windows directory, or any directory named in your PATH= environment variable. If you use software from Borland International, or software created with Borland's development tools, you may already have this file installed on your system.
